The chains were not as heavy as I expected, but work well. I did have to cut two cross links out to get a better fit. I have used the tractor for snow plowing before and after I put the chains on and it works a lot better with them on. Don't forget to get chain tensioners when you buy a set of chains. Luckly I had a set from a 4-wheeler set of chains I used. I would purchase these again.
