All of the Agrex fertilizer spreaders are built of the highest quality materials.The steel components are first degreased, then varnished with epoxy powder and dried in an oven at more than 200 degrees C. The rotor blades can be adjusted to change the amount of seed or fertilizer thrown left or right. The center control lever allows for a 90-degree left or right spread pattern or a 180-degree pattern behind the tractor. The stabilizing bar in the middle of the hopper strengthens the spreader and distributes the weight of the load.

Working speed is from 3 to 16 m.p.h. at 540 r.p.m. The XA model has a metal hopper while the XL model has a poly hopper. The SP model is a pull unit that is ideal for lawn use. It can spread seed or fertilizer even in the tight spots of a yard and is designed to be pulled by a lawn mower, ATV, golf cart or small tractor.

The two pneumatic tires provide flotation to prevent the fertilizer from bouncing out of the hopper (Pull Type Models Only).
