Seperating Good Dirt from Debris?
Last Updated: 06/21/2008
Question: I have numerous piles of dirt mixed with debris from clearing the land we live on. I am looking for an attachment for my skid steer that will take buckets of dirt mixed with rocks and small pieces of trees, etc; and sift this matter out separating the good dirt so it can be reclaimed. I've made a screen out of hardware cloth suspended by chains that I now load up with dirt and shake to separate but this is very slow. Any ideas? Thanks

Answer: Depending on the size of the debris you want to separate from your soil, we offer the Bradco Rock Bucket which is also know as a skeleton bucket. It has 2” or 3” tine spacing options, and they work really well actually. We’ve used one to do similar work here.  We have all sizes in stock and ready to ship, please let us know if you have any additional questions.
