Stoney Ridge Farmer Garden
Hi. I'm Ted, from Everything Attachments. We're here today with the GB-60.
This is Everything Attachments' version of the garden bedder. This is a 60-
inch version. I'll show you some of the things that we've done, that we
like, for ourselves. This is one of the first components, complete
attachments that we've built for ourselves. We've tried to take what we can
out of it that's made from China and get it from other countries, and build
what we can here in the US.
This whole frame here is compatible with a quick hitch, whether it be an
iMatch hitch or a Speeco, any of the quick hitches should hook up to this.
This is standard Category-1 here, with a clevis hitch. A clevis means 2
ears with 1 pin instead of just having 1 ear with a single pin that bends
easily. This has 2 top link pinholes, because the standard quick hitch, we
use the bottom hole, and an iMatch hitch we use the top hole. On this, this
is all 3/8ths plate steel that's cut on a Whitney which will punch a hole
and high-definition plasma cut the rest of this. Then it's put in a press
brake, everything is bent to order, and then put in a jig and everything is
welded together.
What sets ours apart from all of the others is simply it being 3/8ths
instead of a thinner metal, the way it's all designed; nice round edges.
Whether the shipping guy likes it or not, we are able to send this ground. I've
designed this to be a total overall measurement of under 133 inches for
shipping, and it weighs 69 pounds and 11 ounces to stay under the heavy mark to
keep the price for the shipping down. The way this will be shipped, is the
frame will be shipped as one piece. All of the pins, all of the disks, all
of the sweeps, the stems, the clamps, and bolts will come in a separate
box.
It's the simple things that we've done, and we'll show you the back of
this. If you go and look at the FB-60 that's made by another company,
you'll notice that what's called the 'stem clamps' on the back are a casted
red, I call them a knuckle, and it takes 2 of them to do a double-row like
I've done for each component. That piece is made in China, I found out.
They were on back order, so we actually fabricated our own stem clamps, and
we'll show you a good still picture of it. It's basically a plate of steel
of 3/8ths with 4 holes in it; nice rounded sides. Then we have 2 3/8ths
rods welded down where the stem just rests in between the center of these 2
pins. It keeps it from turning a lot better than the other and gives it a
lot more stability, being that it's on 1 piece instead of 2. This
absolutely makes the best type of holder of any that I've seen. Made here
in the US, here in Newton to put our people back to work here.
This is a 14 inch disk on here. This is what's going to heal your dirt up
as this turns. These have a true bearing in them with a casted hub in them.
These are a 22 inch stem. Everything has double 5/8ths U-bolts on it, so
it's really strong. I believe it's the best design out there. I've looked
at all of them; I've used most of them, and this is what I would want for
myself and it's what I built for you.
Make your purchase at Everything Attachments, where we try to put the user
first and take care of customer service like no other. If you've got any
