I am very satisfied with the product and the service after the sale. The product packing however could certainly be improved. The auger arrived with the bit attached to it and it was distressing to see it protruding a couple inches out of the box. Naturally the bit's tip had snapped off (amazed that it was found still inside the box) but I had to stop everything while we ordered (and received no charge, thank you!) a new bit. If this is std operating procedure for packing and shipping the bits I would be surprised if I'm the first customer to which this has happened. Again, love the product and the customer support. This would be a 5 star rating if the packaging (resulting in the delay) wasn't involved.
EA RESPONSE: Carriers are ROUGH sometimes, no matter what we're shipping, and how we're shipping it. We could add a 50 pound crate to ship each piece with, but would then have to ship it to a business, which would also add cost in a couple of different ways. If damage occurs, EA is a quick phone call or email away, and sounds like it worked for you. Unfortunately, it still resulted in missing stars, but hopefully the performance of the best compact tractor post hole digger will make up for it. Thanks for the business and feedback.
