5 of 5 5 1/2' sickle bar mower October 31, 2023
Reviewer: Darrell Armbruster from Taylor, Wisconsin United States
I was very impressed with the quality of the components and general construction of the unit.
The only area for improvement would be the owners manual.  Very difficult to interpret what was meant throughout, but the photos saved me.  I only had to call EA once for advice.  The customer support person was very helpful.

Reviewer: Peter Mire from Gonzales, LA United States
The Sickle Bar Mower works great, had problems getting the hydraulics to work. Called and got the answer I needed from Rick. Thanks! The release support bolt broke the second time I used it.

2 of 5 Crappy Hydraulic Fittings.... August 5, 2020
Reviewer: Elizabeth Downie from Johnson City, TN United States
Inferior hydraulic fittings leaked from the get go, and cracked and failed soon after.  Not impressed.

Shipper did not provide updates, and even after calling them with a cell number to call, didn't call to schedule drop off, and delayed us several extra days, which was a major inconvenience.
EA RESPONSE:  The hydraulic coupler in question was obviously hit with something and broken clean in half, according to pictures sent.  Even though it wasn't a defect by any means, we did offer to send a replacement.  Concerning shipping, EA emails tracking for every single order when it ships.  This particular order shipped on 6/22/2020 and delivered on 6/26/2020, which doesn't seem to be like an extended matter of time.  I hope the performance and longevity of this superb Italian mower makes up for the missing stars in the review.

5 of 5 Great Customer Service ! July 7, 2020
Reviewer: Hidden Spring Lavender.com from SKILLMAN, NJ United States
After receiving my sickle bar mower, I assembled and used it for about 60 ft of stream edge.  The bar lost one of its segment bolts, so I emailed everything attachments.  They sent me replacement bolts at no charge !! Most places will tell you "sorry you must have assembled it wrong"  But NOT these guys !  They are the BEST PLACE TO BUY  5 star.

5 of 5 Trials and Tribulations October 19, 2018
Reviewer: Herman Lentz from Suffolk, VA United States
We had some problems assembling the sickle bar mower. It definitely took two strong men to put it together. The instructions were directly translated from Italian so weren't clear, but the drawings were superb. We finally got it put together. When we started cutting, we could really see the quality that went into the mower. We no longer have to hire the farmer down the road to do our ditches because we will do our own. It sure beat using a weed eater to do the ditches.
