Hi. I'm Ted, from Everything Attachments, and we're here today to show you the Agrex brand of fertilizer spreaders.
These fertilizer spreaders can also be used to spread sand or salt in the wintertime. We've added the deflector shield. This is the salt and sand kit. It bolts on with two bolts on each side, and it's adjustable to how far you want your spread to go.
If you're doing parking lots or driveways, but you don't want the salt to go out in the grass, because salt will certainly kill grass, then you can adjust this cone to where it's either just real close to your spreader, or however far you need it to go without being able to do the full spread like you would for fertilizer for a yard.
If you're going to be doing salt, we do recommend the Poly Hopper, and it also comes with the stainless steel gates and pieces inside here. Just remember when you're doing fertilizer, even though you may have the Poly Hopper and the stainless steel plates, you still need to do a good clean up and put a little oil on these parts for storage. With this deflector that fits any model, you should be able to do all your winter needs, sand, salt, whatever you need to do, with no problem, and be able to control it a lot better than just putting it in the spreader and letting it go on a free spread.
