Hi, I'm Ted from Everything Attachments. We're here today with the Phoenix brand of rotary tiller made by the Sicma Corporation in Italy. This is the best tiller I know of. Especially for the money. We've sold this tiller for many, many years.
It comes with the high quality E-Cardan drive-shaft. All of them that we get come in standard with the slip clutch. So if you hit something in the ground, whether it's a rock or a piece of wood or whatever it might be and your rotor stops, it's going to let this clutch slip instead of shearing a bolt where you're going to have to get off the tractor and repair it.
This will protect the tiller and the tractor if you hit something without having to do any manual repair. The one thing on all tillers, because the gear box is near the front of the implement, you will need to check and make sure that the PTO is the proper leangth for your tractor.
It comes so it can go on a fairly large tractor. And this shaft will go back up pretty short, but if you need it to be shorter, if this will not go on the end of your implement when your gear box is level with your PTO, remember to watch the video on how to measure and cut your PTO.
It's a simple thing to do but you might need to cut your PTO. This rotor has six blades per rotor. It has a nice S turn in it right here on the flange. I've tried the L shaped tine and it took about two passes to make the same type of finish that this did in one. So I really like this tiller the best of all.
I like the adjustable sides here where your draw bars are. For the narrow tractors you can narrow it up easy if you like, makes it easy to hook to like the BX series or the 2305 John Deere's. You can offset it a little bit, since these will move also.
We're going to turn it around to the side here.
It has a four position. It's grease-able right here, the other side runs in oil. It has a four position slide depending on how deep you wanted your tiller to till. It has an adjustable tailgate on the back with a chain. And the higher you raise your tailgate is going to let the dirt, like in our red clay, you don't want to pulverize it and make it like dust because when it rains it will make it too hard.
So you raise your tailgate just a little bit, or increase your speed just a little bit so it doesn't just sit there and totally pulverize it. So that gives you a good adjustment there.
Come on around to the other side, Peanut. All the way. Keep going.
On this side here where your gear box is, and both of these are going to come with oil in them. This has a vent here so when your oil gets hot it lets it vent here. There's a sight glass right here. As long as there's oil that you can see, you're good to go. They've added a nice shield here to keep the wear off of this case for your chain box here. So that has a heavy duty size 60 chain in the T4 tiller.
Has a nice kickstand here, because basically that rotor is just like a big wheel, and it will try to roll over with you one direction or the other if you're not using your kickstand to unhook from it. So that works really good.
Overall this is a great tiller, we've sold them for a long time. We have zero problems out of them basically. That's why we like them so much. They come in the most sizes of any. They come in almost every two inches of size if you get down to it. The main ones that are the most popular are like the four, five, six foot.
But they do offer it in like 44, 48, 52, 56. So they offer a bunch of different sizes as they go through the different series of lines. If you'll give us a call or an email we'll be happy to help size the right tiller for tractor at Everything Attachments.
