Hi. I am Ted, with Everything Attachments. We're here today with the King Kutter brand of rotary tiller. This comes with a slip clutch. All the tillers that we sell at Everything Attachments come with slip clutch instead of a shear bolt. If you had a shear bolt, this shaft would be round instead of splined. When you hit a rock or a root, or something in the ground, it would shear the bolt and you would have to get off and replace it to keep on working. This way with the slip clutch, if you hit something, it just slips the clutch and then let's you continue to work. If you've got something lodged, then you just have to get it un-lodged but, you won't have to do any work on your PTO.
This has a really heavy-duty torque tube on the King Kutter rotary tillers; 6 blades per rotor with a really thick blade from front-to-back, because that's your wearing room. This is an all-gear drive tiller from your PTO and your side box. We'll go over that when we get to it. Let's go over to this side, peanut.
This is a Category 1 tiller. It does have both holes for a standard Quick Attach or the iMatch hitch. On this side here, you'll find a heavy casting where your bearing is for your rotor assembly; it is greasable. This kickstand folds back and goes back into there. Remember to put the kickstand down before you hookup, because that's a wheel underneath there and it will let it fall over on you.
The tailgate chain here is adjustable with this little clevis hook, and that's an important feature on how you want your dirt to look and the consistency of your soil, depending on the moisture that's in the dirt, your tractor speed, and your gate setting here is going to determine how your dirt is after you're through pulling through it. You don't want to go too fine, or it'll turn into hard dirt after it rains on it.
That's the main gear box that you can see from the back. This is an all-
casted gearbox. It's bolted to the main frame which is solid all the way around this machine. It has 3 gears in here: 1 real large gear in the center, 2 small gears on each end. It's never given any problem. I've sold bunches of these, so it must be good. This does have adjustments here also, on the slide, where you can adjust the depth of your tiller.
The King Kutter has been a name for a long time in the industry. It's a US-
made name, and we've been proud the sell them here at Everything Attachments for almost 2 years now. We had a great relationship, everything's going good.
If you'll give us a call or an email at Everything Attachments, we'll make sure that you get the right size tiller for your tractor. Just give us a call or an email, because some tractors now, even though the tractor's are getting smaller, they keep putting more horsepower in them. You may have a fairly small tractor, but if you've got enough horsepower, you can go with a wider tiller. Give us call or an email, we'll be happy to size the tiller for your tractor.
