I’ve purchased a few implements for my compact tractor in the past and could not be happier. But this extended hook does not meet the quality I expected. To start, it’s not solid steel it’s made with 5/8 and 1/2 steel plug welded together. The hook I bought has a 1/32 gap around the perimeter where the two metals meet. Also, I had to clean up the bolt holes with drill bit. I wish this construction type was advised in the product description. I would prefer a solid steel hook like some of the competitors instead of two pieces of steel plug welded with gaps around the perimeter. Great implements, not a great extended hook.

5 of 5 HEAVY duty hook but won't fit JD Quick Hitch April 6, 2023

The hook arrived in a plain brown box just like I like to get my stuff. I pulled it out and this thing was a monster. I don't think anything could break it.

I took the JD hook out of the JD Quick attach. I went to install it and found out is is too heavy duty for my quick hitch. I don't have any machining equipment so I had no way to alter it so it would fit. EA was great about taking it back. Now I am back to cussing and kicking my quick hitch because the implenets bind up on the JD hook.

The salesman I spoke with knew exactly what I needed and confirmed it would work.
I easily installed the Top Hook and adjusted the height. It’s a heavy duty hook and works perfectly.
