Hi. I'm Ted from Everything Attachments and we're here today with our new potato plow that we're making in-house. I've sold a lot of potato plows over the years with my father. Sixty years we've been building potato plows and selling them. With the right machinery, we've taken what I've seen over the years being more than 10 brands and taking what I like out of each brand and making our own the way we want it and the way we think you'll want it. They come in usually either a 15-inch, a foot or a point that you want to call that, on the potato plow, or an 18. There's only a couple of companies that make an 18. We've chosen to stay with an 18-inch. We actually make that in-house instead of buying it.
Every piece of metal on this, except for this, is 3/8 in thickness, which is thicker than any of the others I've looked at. This is a one-inch by four-inch beam, so I don't think you're ever going to have any problem going through broken ground and bending anything. We've made it as heavy duty as we can. Everything, even the plate right here, is 3/8 of an inch. It is quick attach acceptable and has the right dimensions here and up at the top. This is the only implement that we make right now that is quick attach acceptable that doesn't have its own kickstand.
If we add a kickstand and everything to where you could hook it up, we're going to add a lot of extra money and extra parts to it. This doesn't weigh enough that you can't just pick it up and set it onto your quick attach and be hooked up really quick. It doesn't have a stand but it will hook to your quick attach. It's a Category 1. What we've done is there's several potato plows that we've looked at that are a lot shorter from where the center line of your pins are to the bottom. We didn't like that, so we used the one that we liked from here down that was the longest. We used the 18-inch foot that we liked the best where the point and the wings really bring the dirt up good. We've used the 1x4 because we know on the ones we've seen that we like the best, I've never seen one bent.
Since we use a lot of 3/8 and with some of the components needed to be 3/8, we just went ahead and made all the other components 3/8. This is built on a Whitney which will cut and plasma at the same time and punch holes. We can punch these holes, Whitney everything out with the plasma, form it to where it's uniform and correct every time where it goes together easier and you get a better uniform piece in the end. We'll turn it around and show you the back of it.
On the backside of it, you can see that the two braces come out to the formed front piece. They're 3/8, makes it really strong. Every piece down here on the bottom that forms - and we'll show you a picture of it without the foot on it - but every piece down in there is 3/8 of an inch. Super strong. We're not buying the casted piece from China that would be real quick and easy to weld on there. We're fabricating everything in-house just to keep it in America. It's the only way you're going to do it.
It's just another attachment that we hope that you'll like. We've stayed price competitive. We're building it in-house. We're not importing the point from China. Everything here is American made, except for possibly these pins here. It's got a good automotive paint job. For the money delivered to you, it's another Everything Attachment attachment that we want to be able to be something that you can pass on to the next family member.
