Hi, I'm Ted from Everything Attachments and we're here today to show you the receiver hitch style, three point hitch attachments you can get to move your trailers around on your yard. It comes with the receiver style like goes on a truck, or car, or whatever, that takes a regular receiver, like this or it has the two and five-sixteenths ball mounted on the top where you can move a gooseneck trailer.
To move a regular trailer, you're just going to install your hitch like you would on your pickup truck. The good thing about this style hitch is, if you're moving a lot of boat trailers, or whatever, around that have a heavy tongue, you're not having to jack all day. You can go underneath it, get to where your pocket is for your hitch and pick your trailer up, then just clip your hitch and you're through. Same way with the gooseneck trailer. You can go up under it, pick your weight and everything up. Just make sure you put your latch on before you try to move it.
There's not many good ways to move a gooseneck trailer. It's kind of dangerous to use a chain hooked to the front loader bucket because it swings. When you've got this style hitch, you've got a positive hook up and you know it's not going to go anywhere. It's that simple. He can lift it up a little higher, that way you're not having to mess with the jacks. If you've got to go a long way or haul something up the road, you would want to take your jacks up but if you're just going to move it around on the yard, you can leave them where they're set.
All right. All right. So we've put our scotches [SP] back under the trailer. We've backed it back in the spot. We're just going to undo the hitch. Let it down, Kevin. Ball comes right out. It's that simple. If you have trailers to move around on your place and you have goosenecks and regular ball hitches, because this LT2 hitch will do both, this is the hitch you want.
All right. He's fully hooked. The only thing we might should do is hook our safety chains here. If we had a big load on the trailer, we especially would. This sure happens to keep you from having to use the jack and you can move anything around really quick and it will lift a lot, whatever your tractor is capable of doing safely. Go ahead and take it out just a little bit, Kevin.
It took about 15 seconds to hook up to a trailer. Didn't have to mess with the jack. It's a great tool to have around if you've got trailers to move. Another good feature of a three point hitch receiver hitch is that what everybody used to use in the old days would have been a holy cross bar that goes from one end to the other, had a lot of holes in it. A lot of people put trailer hitch balls in it but there's nothing to keep it straight. When you hook it to your three point hitch, then it keeps it level, keeps it from being able to rock and rotate. It's a lot stronger assembly, and all of this is braced really good with 45 degree braces in here to make it really rigid.
It's a strong hitch. It's the best one on the market for the money. Comes direct to your door UPS. They're free shipping within 1000 miles and we hope you make your purchases at Everything Attachments.
