Hi. I'm Ted, from Everything Attachments. We're here today with the Everything Attachments Rotary Tiller. This is a super-high-quality tiller. It resembles the Sigma tiller, made in Italy. This tiller is made in South Korea, not North Korea. It's a very high-standard tiller. It's made for the same OEM manufacturers as Coyote, New Holland, Bobcat. Even though you may have an American-named tractor, there's no real American-made tractor; everything is made somewhere else. If you're lucky, South Korea is one of the better countries that it will be made in versus China.
This is a high-quality tiller, no question about it. Even the gear box on the back is a spherical gear, like what's in the rear-end of your car; meant to run very quiet and run for hours, and hours, and hours constantly. Most everyone is using a straight-cut beveled gear, which works fine. It's just not as good of a design as a spiral helical gear. This particular gear box does come with a 5-year warranty. This would resemble the same heavy-
dutiness and design of a Sigma T10, which is a very popular tiller. I still like the Sigma really good, but this tiller for the price, is really coming in with a super-high quality, really nice price, and we're branding it an Everything Attachments Tiller. Value for the dollar versus quality, I think this is now the new standard and we hope that you'll like all the features that we're going to show you.
This is a Category 1 or a Category 2 hitch. I've left one pin loose. As you can see right now, you can use it in a Category 2 here. You could also use it on a smaller tractor with a Category 1. This particular gear model comes in a 62-inch and a 74-inch, so it could be used on a tractor as low as 25 horsepower with a 62, and as much as 60 horsepower with a 74. Just depending on the physical size of your tractor and what you're doing, it would depend on which one you're purchasing. There's different ways you can do the hitch. You could do the Category 1 for a smaller tractor. If this was a 62 to the inside, you can take this out. You can use a Category 1 with the right pin here. In the middle is a clevis. You could use the Category 2 on a bigger tractor, on the outside or the inside with the bushing in here. You've got a lot of different things that you can do to adjust this tiller for just about any size tractor, including offsetting it a little bit with these pins. Now that tractors are getting a lot of horsepower per size, almost every tractor has enough horsepower to pull its full tread width out. 40 years ago, that wasn't true; the tractors were a lot bigger, heavier, less horsepower. This is not how hard you can pull it, so weight really doesn't matter as much; it's how much horsepower that you have. Even the little tractors, like a B33 Kubota; it's got a lot of horsepower, it doesn't have much weight, and it can well pull out its length of tracks. Tractors are developing to where you've got a lot of power per weight, and for a tiller that's good; it allows you to pull out your complete tread width. You can offset it to some degree.
The driveshaft that comes with this is very heavy-duty. It's a hexagon-
shaped shaft. It's a little tougher to cut because it's just simply thicker, but it's a super-heavy-duty shaft; it comes standard with a slip clutch. I like the way that the stand is easily, just one pin flips up instead of having to adjust it. Basically, that's like a wheel; this is going to want to roll over on you if you're hooking it up without a stand, so you need it.
This has 6 blades per rotor, and just like the Sigma brand, you can unbolt on each end the complete assembly and remove it. Sometimes what you might do, for instance, this is a 74-inch tiller, and you want to go as wide as you can, you can put this on a 40-horsepower tractor, and in broken ground would do fine. If you wanted to do a yard with turf on it, which is going to be more difficult conditions, if it was pulling too hard, you could always pull a few of the end tines off, just reduce the rotating width in here, the outside width isn't going to matter, and then you would have enough horsepower to pull it. You can always remove a few tines if it's just pulling too hard.
It is a large diameter wheel in there, so it's going to do a good job and let you do a deep tilling. It has a really heavy-duty casted end piece here. That's where your bearing is on the rotor assembly for the non-drive side. It also has protection just to keep the dirt out of it, really heavy-
duty skid shoe with 3 adjustments.
You've got a fully adjusting tailgate here with a chain, and that's going to be what you're going to control the consistency of your soil with. Depending on the type of soil you have, with our red clay, if you over-till it after it rains, it'll get hard as concrete. If you've got a sandy, loamy ground, it isn't going to matter as much. Depending on if you leave your tailgate down, it's definitely going to leave it finer. You can raise it all the way up, and it's going to leave it coarser. Just depending on the ground speed of your tractor and the tailgate setting is the two things that's going to give you the consistency that you want for your ground.
Don't forget the 5-year warranty on your gear box. Your power is coming from your center gear box out to the end. You've got a gear here with a very large gear in the center. Usually, a nut is what will tell you if it's a gear tiller or not. If it's a chain drive tiller, you won't have the nut. You've got another gear on the bottom that transfers all the power to the rotor, and then this has also got a cover on it to keep from wearing the bottom of your cover, because likely, that's going to be working down in the ground, especially if you're making two passes. If you'll notice, the gear box is supported on both sides, with the support over here on the side.
This is just a really heavy-duty tiller. This is a tiller that for most people with even large gardens, this is a lifetime investment. A disk harrow works fine, but after you've used a tiller, you're really spoiled on how easy it is to plant and work your garden.
